Riva has always been the epitome of cool. The Italian speedboats have been associated with glamour and sophistication since they were famously owned by Brigitte Bardot, Alain Delon, Sophia Loren, and the iconic couple Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor. This mid-century duo is the equivalent of today’s Jay-Z and Beyoncé.
Riva’s legacy is still alive and well. It’s impossible to imagine St. Tropez without sunbathers enjoying the day on a Riva, or Lake Como without George Clooney cruising its waters in a Riva, reminiscent of the classic Cary Grant.
