The much-maligned Bluenose ll project, which has been subject to cost overruns and is far past its deadline, is not the only reconstruction of the renowned vessel taking place in Lunenburg. Two models of the original Bluenose and the Bluenose ll replica are being built, each to scale and equipped with deck furnishings and rigging that are exact replicas of the originals.
