Garmin Airmar P319 Thru-Hull Dual Frequency Transducer

The Garmin Airmar P319 transducer is purpose-built for smaller sports fishing and commercial vessels under 25 feet in length, designed for fishing where depths are under 3,000 feet. This compact device boasts a dual-frequency operation at 50kHz and 200kHz, and outputs a maximum of 600 watts.

Unlike most P319 transducers which offer a ‘mix and match’ feature with a brand-specific adapter cable, this model is unique. It includes proprietary internal circuitry, a permanently fixed 10-meter cable, and exclusively connects with an 8-pin Garmin adapter. As such, it is not compatible with mix and match adapters.

This transducer is for exclusive installation in the flat bottom region of a boat due to its fixed insert and absence of built-in tilt compensation for deadrise. The compatible device series include the 5x7xs, the 7x1xs, the echoMAP 50dv, the 70dv, the 800xs, the 1000xs, and the GSD 24. It is also useful with the 4x1s, 5x1s, 5x6s, 7x0s, GSD 22 in conjunction with the 8-pin transducer to the 6-pin sounder adapter (Model 13178355). The hull deadrise angle must lie within a range of 0°-7°.

Performance-wise, the P319 is identical to the bronze encased B60 (12°/20° tilt) and B117 (0° tilt), as well as the stainless steel encased SS60 (12°/20° tilt).
