New Kayak, Canoe Launch on Little Calumet River Adds to Recreation Opportunities

Saturday saw a small flotilla of kayakers and canoeists, many of whom were novices, rowing down a few miles of the east branch of the Little Calumet River to commemorate the inauguration of a kayak and canoe launch at Howe Road in the Indiana Dunes National Park.
