Just one month after revealing the world’s first self-governing oil spill response vessel, Sea Machines Robotics of Boston and Metal Shark have created and launched the Sharktech 29 Defiant. Chris Allard, CEO of Metal Shark, commented, “Though many people still consider autonomous technology to be something of the future, it is already here. By joining forces with Sea Machines, we are making autonomy available in a form that operators can purchase and use right away.”
