The event will take place on Clarks Hill Lake in Lincolnton on Friday.
Friday will be a day of fun and learning for children with developmental disabilities, as the Augusta Sailing Club will be taking them out on Clarks Hill Lake in Lincolnton. Mary Miller, the liaison for the organization, said the kids will be able to practice teamwork, communication, and build their confidence while having a great time. The club has made sure to provide the children with a hands-on experience while sailing.
