Safety and Survival Systems International Ltd (3Si) is pleased to announce the appointment of Nick Howland as president, 3Si Americas, and as a board director of 3Si Group.
Nick joins the Group, whose companies include Ocean Safety, Typhoon International, International Safety Products, 3Si Offshore and Revere Survival. The appointment is effective from 6 November 2017 and will be based in Jacksonville, Fla., at Revere Survival’s headquarters.
Nick has over 20 years’ experience in the marine and defense industries. Most recently he was Managing Director of Great Bridge Capital Advisors, a management consulting firm focused on helping private equity clients grow their marine and defense portfolio companies. Prior to this, Nick was vice president and managing director of Survitec Group Americas. He was also an executive at Safariland Group and at Raytheon Company, and served four years as a U.S. naval officer, completing tours aboard USS CHANDLER (DDG 996) and SBU-22. Nick serves on local civic boards, including First Coast Manufacturers’ Association (FCMA) and the City of Jacksonville’s Environmental Protection Board (EPB).
