.THE SURF ZONE FORECAST GENERAL OUTLOOK...
As the onshore seabreeze kicks in this afternoon, the rip
current risk is expected to increase some with surf heights
around 2 feet and long periods of 7 to 8 seconds across
the panhandle beaches. For the Franklin county beaches,
surf heights around 1 foot are expected to keep a moderate
risk of rip currents with the long periods.
Based on communication with area beach officials, the following flags
are flying at area beaches:
