.Synopsis For High Island to the Matagorda Ship Channel Out 60 NM
including Galveston and Matagorda Bays.

Light to occasionally moderate northeast winds will persist this
week, becoming easterly on Saturday. Onshore winds return and
strengthen over the weekend as a warm front moves inland and the
pressure gradient tightens ahead of the next cold front. Caution
flags and Advisories are likely. The cold front may push off the
coast sometime Sunday evening, with strong offshore winds and
elevated seas expected Sunday night into early next week. Low
water levels across the bays will be possible early next week.
