.THE SURF ZONE FORECAST GENERAL OUTLOOK...

Moderate southeast breezes over the eastern Gulf this morning will be
become southerly this afternoon. The rip current risk along all
beaches is borderline high. Given the potential increase in onshore
winds this afternoon, the high rip current risk remains in effect. As
always, heed the beach flags and advice of lifeguards.

Winds will decrease this evening into tonight, but it will take until
later Saturday for the rip current risk to decrease along Emerald
Coast beaches. From Sunday through Tuesday, light winds over the Gulf
and nearshore afternoon seabreezes will hold the rip risk in the
moderate category.

Based on communication with area beach officials, the following flags
are flying at area beaches:
