.Synopsis for the southern California coast and Santa Barbara
Channel including the Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary
and National Park...at 10Z, or 2 AM PST, a 1011 mb surface low was
near Bakersfield, California witha cold frontal boundary extending
out to southwest over the E Pac. Gusty SE to S winds and choppy
seas will impact much of the coastal waters this morning. Another
bout of moderate to strong southerly winds across the coastal
waters is expected with a frontal system between Thursday and
Friday, followed by strong northwest winds.
