.Synopsis For High Island to the Matagorda Ship Channel Out 60 NM
including Galveston and Matagorda Bays.
Shower and thunderstorm activity will continue to taper into this
evening. However, we cannot rule out a few thunderstorms
overnight. An active weather pattern will continue for the
remainder of the week with a daily chance of showers and
thunderstorms. Elevated winds and building seas can be expected
with any storms. Otherwise, onshore flow should prevail through at
least late Thursday, before the arrival of the next cold front by
Friday. A period of east to northeast winds is expected in the
front's wake on Saturday.
