Reaching Out

Getting your boat on and off the trailer is often dicey.

November 1, 2003

Getting your boat on and off the trailer is often dicey. A tap on the gas here or lack of brakes there can mean you give your vehicle a little more of a bath than you intended. The LaunchAide gives you more breathing room for launching. The unit, designed to extend your trailer's length, can adjust from 31.5 inches to 41.5 inches long. Pull the bent pin and insert one end of the LaunchAide into the vehicle tow package. Attach the other end to the ball and hook up to the trailer, and you're set. The LaunchAide can handle boats up to 2,500 pounds, and is constructed from 10-gauge steel. Prices start at $149.95.
